GENERAL INFORMATION

NOTE: PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY 
BEFORE SIGNING UP FOR A TOUR!!!

1.   RESERVATIONS & PAYMENTS

      a.    Day Tours - Bookings should be made WELL IN ADVANCE 
             and FULL PAYMENT is required at time of booking. 

 b. Debit Card, Visa, & Master Card are accepted.

 c. GST is included in all prices. 

 d. Watch the bulletin board and displays at the Tour Desk for 
             Tour information and updates.
 

2.  DEPARTURE & ARRIVAL

     a.    All Tours will depart from and arrive at Garden Park Tower.

     b.    Arrival times back to the Tower are only approximate.

     c.    Your ticket will list the date and time of departure.

     d.    Your seat number will be marked on your ticket.

     e.    Car parking: All cars should be parked downstairs along the
            East wall.

3.  CANCELLATIONS

     a.    When the Tour Committee cancels a tour, passengers will be 
            notified and a full refund will be issued.

     b.    If YOU must cancel for any reason, please call the tour desk
            (604-853-5532) immediately.

    1. Refunds may be issued if the vacancy can be filled.
  2.  Refunds for emergencies will be considered by the Tour 
       Committee.
 
 

TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION 

 a. All passengers should carry proof of Canadian citizenship
  — a passport or birth certificate and/or photo I.D. 
 

 b. Non-Canadians should carry a visa or passport.  
 

 c. All passengers must carry adequate medical insurance .

 
ADDITIONAL FEES

  Unless otherwise stated, all meals are the passengers’ 
  responsibility.  However, tour guides will try to assist 
  passengers in finding adequate eating places.

 
TRAVELING COURTESIES

 a. Tipping tour guides and bus drivers on 
  bus tours is optional.
 

 b. People traveling single should be prepared to sit with
   another single to allow couples to sit together.
 

 c. Be prepared to alternate window seats.
 

 d. Physically-challenged passengers should travel with an 
  assistant.
 

 e. Courteous responses to unexpected or unavoidable 
  changes help to make the tour a more pleasant experience
  for all. 
 

 f. Garden Park Tours seek to maintain a Christian 
  atmosphere.

Tour # 1    Sweet Spring "Mystery" Tour
March 24, 2009

A UNIQUE and DIFFERENT mystery tour awaits you.  You can enjoy the fellowship on the bus as you travel to new adventures.  Tour a "sweet" factory, enjoy a hot plated lunch at noon, then off to a mystery location where other treats await!

Tour # 2     Indian Arm Luncheon Cruise
May 4, 2009

Sail the inland water of Indian Arm aboard the luxurious M.V. Harbour Princess.  This 4-hour luncheon cruise departs Coal
Harbour and cruises along scenic Burrard Inlet to spectacular  Indian Arm.  You will hear informative commentary throughout the cruise.  Afterwards, your coach returns you to Abbotsford.

June 24, 2009

Music by Richard Rogers, book & lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein, based on play Green Grow the Lilacs by Lynn Riggs. Filled with all the melodies you remember, including Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin", The Surrey With the Fringe on Top, I Can"t Say No, People Will Say We're in Love, and of course, the title song, Oklahoma!

Tour # 5                    Whistler Trip  
July 7, 2009

From Abbotsford to Whistler Village, you will spend about 2 1/2 hours there with a stop at Shannon Falls on the way home (weather & traffic    permitting). Feel free to pack your snacks and eat by the falls or wait until the bus makes another stop at beautiful Horseshoe Bay where you can choose to buy fresh fish and chips.

Tour # 6           Hope & Harrison
September 10, 2009

After you have spotted all of the chainsaw carvings in Hope, your drive will lead you to the  granite-carved Othello-Quintette Tunnels in Coquihalla Canyon Provincial Park. These tunnels provide stunning views intertwined with a series of bridges. Then the bus will head towards Harrison Hot Springs which hosts the annual sand sculpture contest each year, which allows sculptors to build pieces that are more than 9 feet tall! Lunch will be a special treat!

Tour # 8       Jet Boat & Bald Eagles
November 12, 2009

Begin your journey on a jet boat ride and visit Harrison Mills, the heritage community, a "throw back" in time. Besides lunching at the Kilby General Store, you will be amazed to visit the Xa:ytem Longhouse &    Interpretive Centre which is a 9,000 year old ancient Aboriginal village site that features "BC's oldest house".  Lunch is included.
