A Time to be Thankful
As the weather cools and the rain begins to fall again we know that
we are reaching the Autumn months once more. Traditionally this is
a time of harvest and with the harvest comes thankfulness for the abundance
that we have. Reminding us that Thanksgiving is once again upon us.
Thanksgiving is a tradition dating back to the pilgrims where communities
join together during harvest time to celebrate all of their blessings.
In the next couple of weeks people will be joining together with family
and friends to celebrate all that we have been blessed with.
This year join your friends at Garden Park Tower for our Thanksgiving
Dinner on October 10th featuring a full Turkey dinner. Don’t forget
to get your tickets ahead of time!
For flowers that bloom about our feet;

The ALZHEIMER SOCIETY’S annual
“COFFEE BREAK” day
has been re-scheduled to:
Thursday, October 9, 2008,
in the Rose Room Coffee Shop.
It is jointly sponsored by the Alzheimer Society, We Care, and CGAS.
Come and enjoy the coffee and snacks; and give a donation to the
Alzheimer Society!
C.G.A.S. Thanksgiving Dinner will be on Friday, October 10th. Don’t
forget to buy your tickets by October 3rd! Buy early so you don’t miss
this great meal! Tickets are $8.50 each.
