CGAS Annual General Meeting:

The Clearbrook Golden Age Society’s Annual Membership Meeting was held on Thursday, April 3, 2008. Committee Reports were received, Financial Statements were presented, and the following new Directors were elected to a three-year term: Peter Giesbrecht, Nickolas Harder, Hans Hofenk, and Katie Rast. In addition, Marie Carter was elected for one-year term to replace Christel Holmann who had resigned following the completion of two years of her three-year term. Additional copies of the Annual Report are available in the Office. A complete list of all Board Directors and Committees may be found inside this newsletter.

All volunteers were recognized at the Annual Meeting and a great big THANK YOU! was given in appreciation for their dedication and commitment. Canada’s national Volunteer Week is being held from April 27 - May 3; a time to pay tribute to volunteers’ hard work and recognize the numerous ways in which they improve our communities. The Garden Park Tower Staff want to invite all of Clearbrook Golden Age Society’s volunteers and their spouses to join us for a special Volunteer Recognition Breakfast on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 8:00 am in the Magnolia (Dining) Room and enjoy a delicious breakfast prepared especially for you by the Garden Park Tower Staff.
