As we move into January we pause for a moment to look at the year just past remembering all the good times and the many changes.  We also look forward to the new year with great hopes for what is to come. As such the month of January is most appropriately named.  The name January comes from the Roman god Janus who was the god of beginnings and endings.  The most common depiction of Janus is a man with two faces looking in opposite directions. For us it represents the new year period of looking back at the previous year and looking forward to the coming year.

The year 2007 has been a good one at Garden Park Tower.  As in years past we have seen many good volunteers join us and a few have said their goodbyes.  There has also been a few changes around the building, such as the repainting of the dining hall and the addition of chandeliers.  We look forward to another year of serving the community around us.
