As September arrives the summer holidays are over. Kids are headed back to school and everything seems to be starting up again. Life at Garden Park Tower is back in full swing. Our lunches are once again being served in the Dining Hall, prepared by our many wonderful volunteers. Our recreational activities will be resuming on September 4th, with carpet bowling every Tuesday and Thursday from 2 pm - 4 pm in the Rec. Room on P1. Indian Arm Luncheon Cruise
September 20th 2007
Sail the inland water of Indian Arm aboard the luxurious M.V. Harbour Princess on a 4 hour luncheon cruise. Depart from Carol Harbour and cruise along scenic Burrard Inlet to spectacular Indian Arm. You will hear informative commentary throughout the cruise.

Steveston Cannery & Reifel Bird Sanctuary
October 4th 2007
Travel to Steveston and tour the Historic Gulf of Georgia Fish Cannery where you will see a 20-minute film, many showcases and a model of a 1930s production line. Eat a hearty lunch before traveling to Ladner to see the Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary - 890 acres on Westham Is. in the Fraser River, where over 230 species of birds have been seen. Walk the paths and see the birds from the viewing tower. Watch this space for more information on out Christmas Tours to Chemainus, a Victorian Country Christmas , or on a Harbour Caroling Cruise.

Thank you very much for your donation of a bursary. It will help me pay for expenses while I’m volunteering at a summer camp. I will be doing the L.I.T. program where I teach kids to do activities (archery, wakeboarding) and about God as well.
